Viña Leyda was founded in 1997, in Leyda Valley, today recognized as the last great innovation of Chilean viticulture. We were the pioneers in this Valley, creating the new Denomination of Origin in May 2002.
By the end of the year 2000, Leyda incorporated high-tech equipments which included a pneumatic press, gentle pumps, temperature controlled systems and a diverse range of stainless steel tanks with capacity from 1,000 liters to 50,000 liters, among others.
Actually,... Leyda has planted more vines reaching a total of 249 hectares divided into Pinot Noir, Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Merlot, Syrah, Riesling, Sauvignon Gris, and Gewurztraminer.
90% of Leyda’s exports are made to more than 27 countries, mainly, North America, Europe and Asia. The remaining 10% stays in Chile.
