Vallegarcía Viognier is made from 100% Viognier. Pre-fermentation cold maceration at 8ºC. 70% fermentation in tank at a controlled temperature of 15ºC. 30% fermentation in barrel and ageing on lees for 4 months and a half. Ageing for 5 months in French oak barrels and 12 months in bottle.
Tasting notes: Yellow gold colour with green glints. Nose: strone fruits and fresh herbs, white flowers and bakery aroma. Palate: tropical and stone fruits, fresh herbs.
The Winery and Vineyard of Vallegarcía is located in the heart of 'Montes de Toledo'. This area has continental climate with hot dry Summers and cold damp Winters. The vineyard has been designed by the Australian professor of viticulture Dr. Richard Smart. Five red varieties have been... planted together with a white one.
