Tridente Prieto Picudo 2009 is made from Prieto Picudo 100%. Fermentation in stainless steel tanks. Aging during 15 months in French oak barrels.
Tasting notes: Cherry red colour, garnet rim. On nose, intense bouquet, mineral, fruity, floral, notes of coffee, berries, almonds, vanilla and licorice. On palate, elegant, silky tannins, spicy, fruity, chocolate nuances, good acidity, fresh. Long and lingering final.

Tritón Wineries is located in Villanueva de Campeán, about 30 km. south of Zamora. This small winery was created recently and was designed primarily for the production of Tinta de Toro (Tempranillo) wines, but it also produces Prieto and Mencía wines. It is... within Orowines, a group of several wineries and its vineyards are quite old; the oldest is from 1910.
