The 2007 Torresilo is 100% Tempranillo taken from 60-80 year old vines, put through ML in barrel, and aged for 18 months in new French oak. It gives up aromas of pain grille, pencil lead, incense, underbrush, violets, and black cherry. In the mouth it reveals ample savory black fruit, lots of spice, and 2-3 years of aging potential. This lengthy offering will deliver prime drinking from 2012 to 2022.
