Description Waltraud is made with the best harvests of Riesling, which is one of the most highly prized aromatic varieties - and rightly so given that it is capable of producing such an elegantly sublime and magnificently fruity wine as this.
Wine and Food Ideal with oysters, lobster and most shellfish. An unbeatable accompaniment to foie-gras, fish, rice, pasta with seafood sauces and duck in sweet sauce.
Tasting Notes Light yellow colour with a golden hue. Voluptuous aroma - typical of the noble grape variety - reminiscent of orange blossom, jasmine, fresh fruit (quince and pineapple) and Mediterranean forest brushwood over a background of honey and fennel. The palate is full, silky and perfumed, with an elegant balance between acidity and sugar.
