The Torelló Vittios is a sweet wine coming from a late harvest. It is made from an over ripened Xarel.lo from Vadó de Can Martí de Baix vineyard, property belonging to the Torelló family since 1395 and occupying 135 hectares in the Alt Penedès region. This vineyard has been targeted for aiming a very low production and its health has been carefully guarded throughout the growing season. The harvest was carried out in 25 kilos boxes and only those grapes achieving the desired degree of dehydration have been selected. Direct pressing. The fermentation of must has been done in 225 liters French oak barrels at a controlled temperature during two weeks. After the clarification and stabilization, it was aged in barrel during three months until it was finally bottled.
Tasting notes: Pale bright yellow colour. Intense nose with complex white fruit, citrus and floral aromas. Toasty notes from the barrel appear during its evolution. The entrance is satiny and silky displaying notes of peach, apricot and honey. Very good acidity. Persistence on the palate with notes of syrup throughout the tasting.

It´s located in Sant Sadurní D´Anoia. They cultivave the white varieties, Macabeo, Xarel.lo, Parellada, Chardonnay and Subirat Parent and red grapes Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Pinot Noir and Syrah.
