Auzells is made with 7 different grape varieties: Macabeu, Sauvignon blanc, Chardonnay, Riesling, Muscat, Müller Thurgau and Albariño.
Macabeu from old vase vineyards (36 to 95 years old) in a calcareous and franc-clay soil.
Hand harvested and cooled after selection table.
Separate fermentation of the different grape varieties at a temperature of 16°C.
Aged for 3 months on its lees (10% in oak barrels).
Mineral-accented orange, lemon and fennel aromas are complicated by notes of honeysuckle and white pepper.
A sappy sharply focused midweight with good bite to its citrus and herbal flavors.
Shows vibrant citrus and mineral notes on the long, tangy finish.
