The Solergibert M-Matacans 2009 is made from a vineyard called Matacans.
We started to take shape in 1984 when we decided to make this plot, and that we have been vinified for 22 years, to know exactly what we can give this area so unique.
Wine of terroir where we express the maximum they can give some spoiled strains 23 years on a clay soil in drought years, with a careful selection of grapes and only five French oak barrels from different backgrounds, with experience inherited from 10 generations of Solergibert, and the experiences of Enric, Conchita, Teresa and Josep during this time.
Pairing: Aged Cheese, Game Animals, Grilled Red Meats, Legume, Roasts, Stews.
Solergibert family remains faithful to the tradition of winemakers with the specific objective of recognizing Artés values that had succeeded, and adapt to the innovations of varieties that already have a reputation and that the Pla de Bages... earn quality not forgetting the indigenous varieties that had a great reputation.
Until now, 10 generations are cultivated with vineyards, and has been in the last 15 years that all the vineyards have been replanted and the winery has been renovated to improve the quality of the wines.
