In Solergibert we wanted to celebrate and honor, with the publication of a special blend Magnum, Enric and Conchita, in 2007, are 50 years of marriage.
It's a strong bet for innovation in terms of blend:
40% Merlot 2002 vintage, 24 months brought in barrels of American oak.
15% Cabernet Franc 2002 vintage, brought up 24 months in American oak barrels.
45% Cabernet Sauvignon 2003 vintage, brought up 12 months in Hungarian oak barrels.
The wine is bold on the nose, powerful, intense, very present timber. Notes of ripe red fruit, notes of parenting as the snuff blonde on a balsamic background of eucalyptus and chocolate-scented forest and mineral records.
The palate is no less powerful, but avoids the lack of elegance that so many wines of high expression have, with a remarkable balance between black forest fruit jam, well-integrated acidity makes the wine cooler and a whole range of from aging, which may range from the most obvious toasted chocolate and licorice, provided that let the wine breathe as much as requested.
