The 2000 Turo D`en Mota is 100% Xarel-lo sourced from a single vineyard planted in 1940. It was fermented in oak where it remained for 3.5 months with weekly batonnage. The first disgorging was in 2009 so the wine remained on lees for over 100 months with no dosage. It is an earthy, terroir-driven sparkling wine with mouth-filling fruit, elegance and power hand in hand. Savory flavors and great balance make for a superb sparkling wine.

Bright golden colour. Aroma: lees, nuts, herbal dressing, complex. Palate: powerful, rich, good acidity, fine bubbles, delicate bitterness.
Viticulture: Takes place 46 Ha. of our own vineyards working with the vines, acting only when necessary and seeking to ensure the natural balance of the vine, aiming to respect it as far as possible to achieve the best expression of every individual vintage. Therefore, viticulture is based... solely on dry farming, we harvest the grapes only by hand and make completely dry cavas The prority is the respect for biodiversity and the environment: vines are cultivated without using herbicides or insecticides and only employ natural organic fertilisers. At Recaredo, growing vines requires paying close attention to the sky, the earth and the plant. This will allow to harvest grapes that can really express themselves.
