Dark cherry color with purple rims. Continuing the Pintia´s saga, monolithic and powerful wine, aromas of wild fruit like casís or cranberry. The wood is present but not predominant. In the attack it is opulent but without wildness, it has a palate without emptinesses with a vibrant finish. On the palate, it has aromas of compote, casis, cranberries, blue flower ... all them present to provide complexity in the mouth.
What the critics say...
Robert Parker: 91 points(01/03/2009)
100% Tinta de Toro (Tempranillo), aged 1 year in new oak (70% French, 30% American) Deep garnet colour. Spicy, ripe cherry, blackberry dark chocolate and pencil shavings. Very fruity. The palate is rich, concentrated, with a medium to high level of velvety tannins and medium acidity. Long finish with lingering flavours of cedar and vanilla. Drink now to 2019.
