What the critics say...
Robert Parker: 90 points(01/06/2011)
It offers up an earthy, jammy, black fruit-scented nose leading to a dense, rich, concentrated, fruity wine which makes up in power what it lacks in subtlety.
Peñin Guide: 88 points(01/01/2011)
Intense cherry red colour. Powerful scents, over-ripe fruit, chocolate, aromatic coffee. On palate, tasty, powerful, concentrated, ripe fruits.
Vinya l’Hereu de Seró is a family-owned wine producer, with a long tradition on wine-growing, that elaborates Costers del Segre ecological wines through own grape harvest.
Wines from Vinya l'Hereu are elaborated in a small village... called Seró, within the municipality of Artesa de Segre in the county of La Noguera. In the appellation Costers del Segre, sub-zone Artesa.
Our philosophy as winegrowers is producing wines that are the mirror of our specific terroir in Vinya l'Hereu, composed of clay soils, continental climate and the particular soil configuration of the Pre-Pyrenees area. And so we look for fresh and well balanced wines that show all this power, character and personality.
