The Pazo De Señoráns Selección De Añada 2004 is 100% Albariño and was aged 34 months in meses en stainless steel barrels.
Tasting notes: A brillian pale colour. Intense, complex aromas in which both primary and tertiary aromas show through: varietal notes with touches of ripe apple, citrus fruit, rose petals, as well as stone fruit hints of peach and medlar fruit –all combining with elegant mineral notes: powerful kerosene aromas that are well integrated into the whole. Long and lingering with excellent development in the glass, gaining even more complexity as you taste. Great character, firmness and depth come through on the palate with enormous volume in the attack which shows fat and unctuousness with a good balance between acidity and the varietal fruit. The mouth is filled with lingering sensations of fully ripe fruit, and the finish is clean and fruity with subtle toasty notes coming from its time spent on the fine lees. Great potential for several years’ ageing in bottle.

Vanilla and toasted almond notes frame fresh pear, lanolin and pine flavors in this broad, fresh white. It's juicy, lively and gentle, with good depth. Drink now.

The 2004 Seleccion de Anada is Albarino aged sur lie for three years. Light gold-colored, it delivers a lovely honey, mineral, and lemon-scented nose leading to a creamy-textured, ripe, surprisingly fresh wine with superb length. Drink this high-class Albarino over the next 2-3 years.
Pazo de Senorans is usually a candidate for Albarino of the year made by anyone other than Raul Perez.

Evolution: more than 2015. Gastronomy: koskera hake, monkfish in green sauce, lobster, crab. Albariño, 30 months on its lees. Large, developed but in a growth phase, an extraordinary personality. Complex nose, with plenty of fruit and fine mineral, smoky, spicy. With nerve and volume, balanced, elegant.

The Pazo de Señoráns history begins in the 14th century and, across the time, its centenary walls have been silent witnesses of the most diverse events. The Pazo de Señoráns winery is located in Vilanoviña, in the pontevedresa village of Meis, in the Salnés, subfield belonging to the... Denomination of Origin Rías Baixas. Their wines have a great quality, as consequence of the care and rigor in the vintage. Each plot is grown separately, which allows a major identification of the grape. Pazo de Señorans might be defined as a practical and modern winery. Definitively their philosophy is to create a white wine of great personality; long but also nice and long-lived.
