Ochoa Rosado de Lágrima 2010 is made from Red Garnacha (50%) y Cabernet Sauvignon (50%). To obtain the must the traditional bleeding system is used where the must remains in contact with the solid parts for a short period (12 hours for Garnacha and 6 for Cabernet) to later on be moved to a stainless steel tank, where it will ferment at a controlled temperature of 18ºC.
Tasting notes: Tasting The wine has a pretty bright raspberry pink colour, with slight purple hues showing its youth. Nose: shy when opening the bottle, which wakes up to offer an incredible complexity. Red fruits, fresh grape hints and mineral hints aromas reminding us of the land it comes from.
Palate: long and complex. It is remarkable the sweetness of the Garnacha combined with the Cabernet Sauvignon’s tannic power, becoming this wine a versatile rosé suitable for any occasion.
