Matsu El Viejo 2009 is made from Tempranillo 100%. Centenary vineyards. Grapes naturally grown following biodynamic techniques. Aging during 16 months in French oak barrels followed by a year in bottle. Bela Adler and Salvador Fresneda, internationally renowned professional photographers, are the authors of the photographs that feature the bottles belonging to the trilogy of Matsu.
Tasting notes: Lively cherry red colour, violet rim. On nose, elegant scents of black fruit, touches of mineral, spices and roasted with notes of smoky, balsamics, cocoa and licorice. On palate, with volume, tasty, nice and long, tannins still to be polished. Spicy aftertaste, fruity notes with memories of roasted and cocoa.
