The Matsu el Pícaro is elaborated with Tinta de Toro. Three months ageing in barrel and born of the biodynamic viticulture and the respect of nature. El Pícaro ("The Rogue") is the younger generation of a trilogy ("El Pícaro", "El Recio" and "El Viejo"). It is for this reason that we are shown an innovative bottle label with a picture of a young man. Similarly, in the other two bottles, crianza (El Recio) and reserve (El Viejo) images representing the wine as if they were people are displayed. The images are from the very well known photographers Bela Adler and Salvador Fresneda, who have worked for widely known companies and brands. For the design of these labels, we are shown real people who work in the agriculture, not models, paying a tribute thus to viticulture.
Tasting notes: Purple colour which indicates its youth. Nose: intense aroma which highlights the black fruits such as blackberries and cranberries, dominating over the red fruits and the mineral notes. This wine is fresh, yet complex. Mouth: fruity sensations, pleasant feeling coming from the maturity of the grapes from which it comes.
