Mas Rodó Cabernet Sauvignon 2008 is made with Cabernet Sauvignon 100%. Manual harvest. Aging during 12 months in French oak barrels and 18 months more in bottle. Vineyards located at a height of 500m (1640 ft) above sea level. Decanting is recommended before serving to be able to enjoy its potential.
Tasting notes: Lively red colour, crimson rim. On nose, reminiscences of berries, touches of jam and bitter chocolate. On palate, good acidity, well-balanced with touches of spices.

Mas Rodó's properties are located in Mediona, mountainous area from ??Penedès, and has 50 hectares of crops and a brand new warehouse built in 2006 taking as its base the ruins of the country house Mas Rodó, whose origins date back to the 18th century. Thanks... to the quality of its wines, it is among the best wineries in the 'Guía de Vins de Catalunya' (Guide of wines from Cataluña). White varieties: Parellada, Montonega, Macabeo, Muscat and Riesling. Red varieties: Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Tempranillo. Experimental varieties with a perfect acclimatization in the vineyards: Marcelan, Prieto Picudo and Verdejo.
