The Marques de Alella Pansa Blanca is elaborated with Pansa blanca (100%). Made from grapes growing in their own vineyards. Hand picked at their ripeness. Grapes are hand sorted using a selection table, undergoing at least 8 hours of maceration with their skins before being pressed without crushing at low temperature and in a protective atmosphere. The wine owes its individuality to the maceration that extracts the skin compounds giving aromas and flavours and a long, low temperature fermentation on the lees. The bottled wine is matured in their own cellars.
Tasting note: Rich looking wine with green hints, characteristic of its youth. Nose: intense, fresh and fruity aroma. Palate: Mouthfilling with a long distinctive, slightly bitter finish. Well structured powerful wine.
Marques de Alella belongs to the Parxet Group, along with the wineries Parxet, Tionio and Basagoiti. They have around 200 hectares of vineyards in the districts of Sta. Maria de Martorelles, Montornès del Vallès, Sant... Fost de Campsentelles, Alella and la Roca del Vallès in the D.O. Alella.
