The Luzón Cosecha 2009 is elaborated with 70% Monastrell, 30% Syrah. Hand picked at optimum maturity for each variety. Fermentation in contact with the skins at a controlled temperature not exceeding 28 ºC for 10-15 days depending on the variety. Mixing is carried out after each fermentation.

Bodegas Luzón belongs to the D.O. Jumilla (Murcia, Spain).
It has 400 hectares of vineyards in two estates: Castillo de Madax, located 600 meters west altitude, and Finca La Solana, located south-west to 450 meters altitude.
Monastrell, Tempranillo, Merlot, Syrah,... Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot grapes and grape Macabeo and Chardonnay as white are harvested.
