In 1983, the family Breton, together with a group of Rioja´s businessmen, establishes Breton wineries. In 1985, the first crop is produced. In 2003 the new facilities are inaugurated in Navarrete where are located office and winery. Nowadays, around 25 % and 30 % of the grape that... they elaborate comes from the vineyards that Breton wineries possesses or controls. In total more than 100 hectares of vineyard placed basically in Agoncillo (Loriñon state), Briones (Dominio de Conte estate), Ventosa (El Zorzal estate) and Villamediana, all in the Rioja Alta. They acquire the rest from vine-growers whose vineyards are distributed along Rioja Alta and Baja, and which they collaborate narrowly along the productive process to achieve a grape in the best conditions of quality and ripeness.
