Classic Reserve Chardonnay comes from selected blocks planted in Leyda Estate. Canopy management is carried out in order to protect the fruit from direct sunlight and therefore, keep the brightness of the aromas during the ripening period.
Winemaking is made orientated to preserve the varietal aromas and the character of San Antonio Valley. No oak or malolactic fermentation are present in this wine, keeping the natural acidity and minerality of the estate. Nevertheless, the wine is left on its lees for 4 months in order to get roundness and volume in the palate.
Classic Reserve Chardonnay is fresh and fruit driven in the nose with ripe citrus aromas and honey . Sharp and well balanced with a sweet front palate and mineral and roasted almonds flavours at the back. Bright acidity and a long fresh finish.
Pairing: Fish Stew, Omelets, Pasta, Soups and Creams.
