The aroma denotes a pleasant sensation full of red forest fruits, citric fruits and a slight, elegant hint of plants, with great clarity and definition. A rosé with a marked Mediterranean character but also notable acidity that makes it dynamic and cheerful, bringing it close to the lightness of white wines. The first sensations on the palate first are fruity and juicy, with a volume that makes it very agreeable. On the palate, the dominant flavour is ripe fruit with fresh overtones but enveloped in a silky smoothness. Its rich finish gives it complexity, lengthened with toasted, creamy sensations.
It was founded in 1986 by Josep María Raventós Blanc and Manuel Raventós Negra. The property of the Raventós family since 1497 in Sant Sadurní d´Anoia consists of 90 ha of woods and vineyards in the depression situated between the coastal hills and Montserrat, 40 km west of Barcelona, within... the Penedés winemaking area.
