The Knockando pale golden color is completely natural. Comes only from the barrels on the casks that have matured, built without nails or glue. At no time was any dye added for this reason the depth of color can vary in successive bottles.
Use only natural ingredients: malted barley, yeast and crystal clear water from the spring of Cardnach, in the hills above the distillery there. And the amount of peat used for malting barley is controlled carefully so as not to unbalance the flavor of the final product, and the proportion of sherry casks used is also limited to not dominate the taste of whiskey.
Nose: Sweet and aromatic with light notes of dried fruits
Body: Light and soft, something "creamy"
Palate: Delicate, soft and fruity with a touch of almond
Finish: Soft, with notes of toffee and cream, becoming drier.
