Hacienda Monasterio Reserva 2007 is made of 80% Tinta del País and 20% Cabernet Sauvignon. Aging for 16 months in French Allier oak barrels.
Tasting notes, Dark red bright colour. On nose, intense and complex, scents of ripe fruit, flowers and soothing. With mineral notes. On palate, soft and with a nice and persistent finish.

The 2007 Reserva offers up a complex bouquet of spice box, violets, mineral, incense, and assorted black fruits. Smooth-textured, ripe, and well-balanced.

Hacienda Monasterio is located between Pesquera and Valbuena de Duero, two Duero valley towns worldwide known because ofthe quality of their wines. Current cellar itself was built in 1991/1992 according to the project signed by french architect Philippe Mazières, who had previously worked for... pretigious cellars as Château Margaux, Château d'Yquem or Prieure-Lichine.
