Bright cherry colour with very intense ruby red rim. High-toned fruit aroma comes first on the nose but gradually it merges into highlighting hints of toasty, liquorice and chocolate, which lead to a great expression of aromas. Round mouth, with a concentration of varietal intensity on the palate, well-merged oak and fruit tannins, luscious, structured and balanced. Lingering finish.
What the critics say...

The 2006 Dehesa de los Canonigos is a blend of 88% Tempranillo and 12% Cabernet Sauvignon aged for 15 months in American oak. It offers up an unusual liqueur-like nose reminiscent of cherry cola along with lavender, spice box, and black fruit aromas. Sweet and savory on the palate, it displays a racy style with a sense of elegance.
