Wine Spectator: 86 points(01/01/2011)
"A bright bubbly, light and crisp, with hints of vanilla and nut accenting the modest apricot and Meyer lemon notes. Drink now. "
The predecessor of Conde de Caralt was Cavas Carbó of Sant Sadurní d´Anoia, which was acquired by José María de Carlat Borrell, the Count of Caralt, in the early 1960s. The first harvest marketed under the new proprietor´s nobiliary title was in 1964. Conde de Caralt has since consolidated the... prestige of its wines and cavas, creating a range of products that are greatly appreciated for their tradition, particulary by consumers from the western basin of the Mediterranean. Notable for their unpretentious elegance, our wines are made for today´s tastes.
