At sight it exhibes a beautiful color reminding the red of the ripe cherries. Russet rim. The nose exhales notes of its time in the wood and in the bottle. There are aromas of well tanned leathers, Game, spices and from fleshy ripe red and black fruits.

Powerful and distinctive. This traditional red is rich with mineral, gamy and leather flavors framing the plum and prune fruit. Coffee and tobacco notes add to the dark impression. It has plenty of extract and muscular tannins. Drink now through 2012.

Alejandro Fernández discovered an abandoned hillside on the banks of the River Duero in the mid-1980s that seemed to bring together the ideal conditions to become on of the est vineyards of the region. The first 80 hectares were finally planted in 1989. Today the property, which is named... after the neraby town of Haza, has a coninuous covering of almost 200 hectares of excellent Tempranillo vines. It was only from 1995 that Condado de Haza became the ´Château´ Alejandro Fernández had dreamed.
