Castell del Remei Oda 2008 is made from a blend of Merlot 50%, Cabernet Sauvignon 25%, Tempranillo 15% and Syrah 10%. Aging during 12 months in French and American oak barrels. The winery is one of the oldest in Spain, owned by the Cusiné family, pioneer in the introduction of French grape varieties, such as Cabernet Sauvignon.
Tasting notes: Dark cherry red colour, crimson rim. On nose, scents of oak wood, black fruit (plum and blackberry), vanilla and jam. On palate, milky and expresso hints; lingering, subtle and sumptuous. Tasty final.
