The Cardhu Single Malt 12 years is the treasure of the Speyside region of Scotland. It owes its peculiar flavour to the local climatic conditions and the frigid waters of the Spey river - of glacial origin.
This is one of the most popular whiskeys of Scotland because of its soft and silky palate.
Tasting notes:
Golden honey colour.
Nose: spicy, pear and heather drops. Very balanced with notes of honey, fresh cut grass, sweet resin and nuts. If you add water, it remains smooth but less pronounced appearing cereal malt notes, soft spicy wood and light traces of wood smoke.
Body: smooth and pleasant.
Palate: balanced, smooth, with short strength, sweet and fresh. It can be taken at any time, with or without water.
Finish: Short. Sweet smoke lingering in the attractive and drying aftertaste.
