Bertha Brut 1989 is made from Macabeu, Xarel·lo and Parellada. Minimum of 12 months maturation. 8 grams per litre of liqueur d'expedition are added to this Brut. The liqueur d'expedition is a totally natural liquor made of wine and sugar to sweeten the product.
Tasting notes: Nose: fruity aromas. Palate: complex and warm with a mild amount of carbon dioxide.
Cavas Josep Torres Sibill is located at the town center of Sant Sadurní d´Anoia. This is the place where cava Bertha is elaborated. Only 70.000 bottles per year are produced from which 6 different types of cava are obtained. In 1989 the brand named Josep Torres Sibill is... started. Their first production was only 5.000 bottles. In 1998 it was achieved to register the brand BERTHA, after trying to register this brand in 1989 with an unlucky ending due to the existance of a brand registered with almost the same name. Since 1998 the concept was different; new presentation, new corporate image, new concepts and a new comercial philosophy.
