It was aged 4 months in French oak barrels.
Tasting notes: Intense cherry red color with violet tones, clean and bright. Aromas of fresh fruit in perfect harmony with the wood. The palate is fruity, fresh, pleasant and responsive.

The 2009 Barrica Seleccion spent 6 months in French oak. It gives up an enticing nose of Asian spices, incense, cedar, lavender, and assorted black fruits. Savory, spicy, and flavorful on the palate.

Deep cherry color. Aroma: Medium intensity, ripe fruit, sweet spices, creamy oak. Palate: spicy, savory, ripe tannins and fleshy.
Finca La Rinconada is located within a special and picturesque natural landscape along the river Douro, instead of long-standing land, livestock and hunting and habitat exceptional located within the reserve of natural shoreline Castronuño-Vega del Duero, characterized by its wide variety... fauna: not in vain have occurred in this area 189 species of birds, 24 of mammals, 10 of reptiles, 5 of amphibians and of 9 fish.
In its passage through the area on Duero amply confirms its nature as a privileged space for obtaining exceptional wines. Its mists stick and stroke bunches of grape wines to confer this mixture of rigor and elegance that characterizes.
It is a vast area of pastureland of 1.400 hectares located in the western zone of the province of Valladolid (Spain): is therefore situated in a region with a long tradition of wine production, as evidenced by the closeness of the prestigious appellations of origin: Toro, Ribera del Duero, Rueda or Cigales.
This geographical area is characterized by a continental climate, which is a high contrast of both temperatures throughout the year as between day and night allowing an extraordinary adaptation of different grape varieties. This unique environment accommodates our vineyards and winery and of course is the cradle of BARCOLOBO.
