This beautiful mansion was constructed in 1918 and acquired by the group Codorníu in 1975. The estate is near Sant Esteve Sesrovires with a wine tradition of more of 2000 years. The family Reventós retained 60 has. of the original 350 has., which were parcelled in 7 parts by the former... owners. The arrival of The Reventós meant a whole technological advance in the processes of culture. They renewed all the vineyards from the vine-stocks free of virus by means of a quality and sanitation research. In Masia Bach are cultivated besides the traditional varieties, Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay giving very good results. Masia Bach is one of the most beautiful wine estates of Catalonia with good equipments of production and impressive warehouses of ageing with 10.000 of oak casks. Some of its underground galleries are excavated up to 33 m, under the mountain, providing perfect conditions for the wines ripening at constant humidity and temperature.
