Aura Verdejo 2011 is made from Verdejo and Sauvignon Blanc. Fermentation in French and American oak barrels. Winery located at Rueda, near Tordesillas.
Tasting notes: Bright straw colour, greenish rim. On nose, floral expression, notes of exotic fruits, wild herbs and citrus. On palate, full-bodied, elegant, tasty, fruity, good acidity and well-balanced.
Historically, Rueda has been one of the most outstanding centres for vine growing since the 18th century. Bodegas Aura bears good witness to this tradition by expressing the autochthonous variety of the region in its Aura Verdejo wine. Exclusively devoted to making a white wine, recognised... by writers as being one of the most expressive among Ruedas, its distinct style is highlighted by its careful presentation. It belongs to the group Domecq Bodegas.
