Augustus Trajanus is made from 40% Cabernet Sauvignon, 40% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Franc.
Cold maceration during 48 hours. Fermented at 27ºC during 14 days in stainless steel tanks. Maceration for two more weeks. Malolactic fermentation during 21 months in oak barrels.
Nose: hints of leather, tobacco, spices and cacao, ripe fruits coming from the Merlot and Cabernet varieties.
Palate: good structure and with a good evolution in bottle. Long and pleasant aftertaste.
