The Acústic Celler Auditori Vinyes Velles owes its name to that is the fruit of old "magic" vines of Garnacha between 60 and 70 years old from three different vineyards.
The fields of these vineyards are poor and stony have yielded high quality low yields.
It has been aged for 13 months in French oak barrels.
The result is an elegant wine, fruity, complex and round.
What the critics say...
Robert Parker: 96 points(01/05/2011)
The 2009 Auditon was tasted from a barrel sample but will be in bottle by the time this report is published. It is 100% Garnacha sourced from 80- to 100-year-old vines and aged for 13 months in French oak. It is more expressive than the Brao (and that’s saying something). It is a tight, youthful offering that should easily achieve its 20th birthday in fine form.
Pairing: Aged Cheese, Game Animals, Grilled Red Meats, Legume, Roasts, Stews.
Established in 2004 and with an own vineyard of 10,0 Ha. This winery is the project of Albert Jané to claim the traditional viticulture. Their wines belong to D.O. Montsant.
