What the critics say...
Wine Spectator: 86 points(31/08/2009)
Toast, vanilla and licorice notes frame a core of sweet cherry and cola flavors in this oaky red, which has a polished texture, firm tannins and bright acidity. Tempranillo with Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. Drink now through 2012.
Robert Parker: 90 points(01/06/2009)
The 2006 Crianza is 90% Tempranillo and the balance Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot aged in French and American oak for 15 months. It offers up a fragrant nose of cedar, leather, lavender, mineral, and blackberry. Medium to full-bodied on the palate, it has ample spicy, savory fruit, ripe tannin, and excellent balance. Drink well from 2011 to 2021.

Established at the beginning of the 90´s by the Arzuaga-Navarro family, the Winery that wear their names is an example of commitment and passion for the land and the wine. Florentino Arzuaga likes the horizons of Castile where still remain spaces in which the nature and the animals live free... of disturbances. Over there, and close to a silent Duero, Florentino bought an estate that due to its size, has own horizons. Then the vine-stocks and the warehouse came and later the wine; a red wine as he liked it: with skeleton but elegant, round and complex at the same time. Florentino Arzuaga takes in his spirit the tenacity of the businessman but with the sensibility for the aesthetics and the perfection. He is a simple and shy man at the same time, also capable to place a red wine that takes his surname in the most sumptuous wine lists; and in a short period of time.
