The Amaren Blanco Fermentado 2009 is made from fermented grapes of 80% Viura (Macabeo) and 20% Malvasia, from vineyards of more than 50 years.
Fermentation in French oak barrels and aged for 5 months.
Its grapes come from vines that are in the higher parts of the vineyards where the soil is poor, having thus small clusters which allow a perfect maturation with a high concentration of nuances.
Tasting notes: Yellow color, with intensely aromatic, mixing shades of fruit in syrup with confectionery notes. The palate is soft and round, with a complexity of nuances citrus (lemon peel), recall of pineapple notes snuff pipe and herbs, with very elegant mineral finish.
Pairing: Fish Stew, Omelets, Pasta, Soups and Creams.
