The Alvear Pedro Ximenéz 1927 is a rich dessert wine made from Pedro Ximenez grapes, hand-picked and dried in the sun before pressing. The sweet must is then fortified with grape spirit, before starting a careful ageing process in Alvear's original 1927 solera.
Colour: Mahogany colour with deep amber tinges.
Nose: Atractive, powerful nose with intense coffe, cream and toffee aromas and delighful toasted notes.
Palate: Rich, smooth and intense with lingering cocoa and mocha.
Food Pairing: Delicious with desserts and fine patisserie. Also great with blue cheeses.
