The Parvus Rosado 2010 is a rosé wine elaborated with 100% Cabernet Sauvignon. The grapes undergo a short cold maceration process during 18 hours to obtain as much colour as possible to later on undergo the fermentation in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 15ºC.
Tasting notes: Cherry colour. Nose: aromatic notes of strawberries and raspberry. Palate: full with a long and persistent finish.
The estate is just 2 km from the Mediterranean, with the vineyards planted on slopes and terraces between 150 and 300 meters altitude. There are currently 6 hectares of vineyards in production at Can Genis, with a further 6.5 hectares being planted. The red varieties planted are Pinot... Noir, Syrah, Mataró and Cabernet Sauvignon, whilst the whites are Pansa Blanca, Chardonnay, Viogner and Sauvignon Blanc. The cellar is specifically designed for micro-vinifications.
