Straw yellow with golden highlights. Fine and persistent bubbles, with a slow evolution. Aroma: clean, frank and fruity, with marked ripe fruit touches and mild toasted hints.
Final Impression: pleasant attack, with carbonic perfectly combined, graceful evolution and long after taste with a ripe fruit predominance and pleasant buttery and toasted tones due to a long ageing process.
Gastronomic combinations: Ideal with any kind of food due to its structure and ageing: dressing fishes, meats and cured cheeses.
What the critics say...

The flagship 2005 Kripta Gran Reserva Brut Nature displays a splendid, already complex bouquet of mineral, baking spices, brioche, spring flowers, and green apple. Crisp, dry, vibrant, and full-flavored, it may evolve for a few years but there is no reason to delay gratification. It compares favorably with many of the top vintage Champagnes.
Agusti Torello Mata is one of Spain’s finest Cava producers. Only 20% of the estate’s production is exported; they are all vintage dated and carry the disgorgement date on the back label.

With the aim to elaborate Cava in its maximum expression, three autochthonous varieties are selected from the best subfields of the Penedés: Xarel.lo, Parellada and Macabeo, to which the mediterranean weather will give a few singular characteristics and personality. With a careful process... which goes from the election of the best ´crus of the Penedés´, passing a rigorous control of the vineyards, up to a selection and harvest by hand... are the key of its secret: Technology and tradition go together to respect and to promote the virtudes of its Cavas.
