The Acústic 2009 is elaborated with Carignane and Grenache. Not filtered or clarified in order to preserve the purity of this wine made ??with fruit coming from 35-65 years vineyards. Short aging in lightly toasted barrel, they keep the purity and taste of the fruit.
Tasting note: Intense cherry red colour. Nose: intense red fruit and spicy skin. Touches of balsamic aromatics on a fresh fruit bottom. Palate: full of flavour, with spicy and fresh tannin. Long finish with varietal reduction.
What the critics say...
Robert Parker: 91 points(01/06/2011)
It offers up a lightly roasted bouquet of spice box, earthy minerals, tobacco, and black cherry setting the stage for a sweetly-fruited, dense, layered wine that has 1-2 years of aging potential. It, too, is an outstanding value that will deliver prime drinking from 2012 to 2019.
