The Acústic Blanc 2010 is elaborated with 60% white Grenache, 25% Macabeo, 5% Pansal, 10% red Garnacha. The name "Acústic" comes from the philosophy of preserving the old vines and the traditions of the old farmers. This wine "Acustic" -without electricity- claims its roots and traditional values of wine in oposition to the "globalization" of wines made using technology. Coming from the vineyards of La Serra d'Almos, Els Guiamets, Montsant Cornudella Marçà located between 300 and 700 meters tall, aged between 40 to 80 years. It is made respecting the grape varietal expressiveness, with a maceration at 80-10 °C for 2 days. 30% fermented in new French oak barrels at low temperature and 70% stainless steel for 4 weeks at low temperature (12 °C) thus preserving the delicacy and fruitiness of the grape.
Tasting notes: The White Grenache gives structure and character, the Maccabee brings finesse and fruitiness, the Pansal gives structure and breeding capacity and the red Grenache vines give it up exotic fruit, acidity and freshness.
