200 Monges Reserva is made from Tempranillo 85%, 10% Graciano and 5% Grenache grapes.
Fermented in oak barrels of Allier for 11 days at a controlled temperature of 24-28°C
Fermentation with its skins for further 25 days to enhance the tannins.
Aged for 20 months in new French oak barrels. It rests 16 months in bottle before marketing.
Deep, intense ruby colour.
On the nose it presents aromas of ripe red fruit, tobacco, cedar and truffle.
Elegant in the mid-palate, full bodied, balanced and complex, notes of licorice and well-integrated, fine tannins.
